In the Gulf of Pozzuoli, located within the territory of the Phlegraean Fields, is the Submerged Archaeological Park of Baia, one of the most exciting diving sites in the world. In these waters the constructions of the Roman period are still clearly visible, now submerged due to bradyseism.
Dive sites of unique interest in the world are located right in the waters overlooking the Centro Sub Campi Flegrei. It is possible to immerse yourself in the remains of the Portus Julius, the splendid walls of the Villa dei Pisoni, the mosaics of Villa a Protiro, the towers of the Secca delle Fumose, all surrounded by clouds of fish. The Sub Campi Flegrei Center is a founding member of Assodiving Flegreum, a consortium for the management of underwater visits to the Submerged Archaeological Park of Baia on behalf of the Archaeological Superintendence of Naples and Caserta.
