In Naples, pizza is not a recipe, it is a ritual: the art of the Neapolitan pizzaiuolo is recognised by UNESCO as part of humanity's heritage. In this masterclass you step behind the counter of a historic pizzeria, founded in 1923, and learn it from those who live it every day.
Put on your apron and let the pizzaioli guide you through every secret: how flour, water, salt and yeast become a soft, airy dough, how to stretch it by hand without a rolling pin, and how to top it with tomato, mozzarella, fresh basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Then comes the moment everyone waits for: your pizza slides into the wood-fired oven and comes out in moments, puffed and fragrant. Sit down to enjoy it with a drink and finish like a true Neapolitan, with an espresso.
Small groups, a warm atmosphere and a skill you will take home forever.
