FARM TO TABLE

Farm to table is a simple concept and literally means from farm to table, but in reality it contains many small meanings and as many important values. This is the right opportunity to get wrapped up in an experience with all five senses: walking in one of the famous lemon groves of the Sorrento coast, tasting the famous limoncello produced with its precious fruits, visiting a farm and amazed to admire the production process of the famous provolone del Monaco DOP, made according to the ancient tradition by one of the historical families of the area, who has been dedicated to this activity for generations.

The excavations of Herculaneum, surprising remains of an ancient Roman city, are considered, like the most famous ones in Pompeii, one of the most important UNESCO sites.
Perfectly preserved since the eruption of 79 d. C. the archaeological site returns almost intact finds.
You will be projected into the ancient Herculaneum, the "buen retiro" of the Roman patricians who lived on the slopes of Vesuvius.

The Reggia di Portici is a splendid example of the summer residence of the Bourbons of Naples. Along the road on which the Palace was built, several noble residences soon arose which made it acquire the name, still used today, of the Golden Mile.

ARCHEOLOGICAL HERCULANEUM GOLD

The excavations of Herculaneum reveal to the visitor a Roman city buried in a few moments by the violence of Vesuvius in 79 AD, in an excellent state of conservation.
The city was covered by a flow of pyroclastic material, which transformed into mud stratified on the city for about 23 meters. Thanks to the particular type of burial on this site, entire wooden structures, decorations, everyday objects and about 300 skeletons of the victims have remained intact.
